Our client is seeking an Oracle Cloud Test Manager on the initial 2 month contract with the possibility of an extension.

Working Hours-

37 hours per week

Pay Rate-

£328.18 p/d

Job Purpose-

The Test Manager will review/ update current test strategy, processes, and plan, and deliver successful Testing of the Council's Oracle CRP/HCM Cloud Project

Duties and Responsibilities-

- Define and test phases entry and exit criteria.

- Co-ordination of testing over the SIT/Validation /Pre-Production test stages.

- Definition and implementation of the appropriate Quality Assurance across Third Party managed test stages.

- Liaise with third-party/in-house developers/service providers to ensure that testing deliverables are completed to time and specification.

- Planning of test phases, cycles and resources.

- Identification and allocation of the appropriate project and business resources to tasks and monitoring of progress.

- Provision of support to the programme and project manager(s) with reporting, statistics and metrics of the current and future test status.

- Manage defects and defect life cycles.

- Contribute to the achievement of the Oracle Cloud project objectives, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Skills and Experience-

- ISEB / ISTQB foundation or above certification

- Knowledge of software testing methods and practices inc. use of testing tools and techniques.

- Proven ability to manage complex test plans across multi-functions and including technical testing

- Ability to advise business areas on the types of test scripts to be used within each area, including negative test

- Proven ability to create logical test script knowledge library, including scripts, evidence and standards

- Proven ability to define test entry and exit criteria

- Proven ability to write test reports including exit reports

- Able to deal effectively with changing priorities or obstacles and to provide alternative options or solutions.

- Proven experience of testing within Payroll/Finance/HCM systems or ERP applications

- Oversight of the co-ordination of end users as required to complete UAT

- Strong attention to detail.

- Specific Knowledge of ERP systems functionality and interfaces and an appreciation of the cloud technical environment.
