A new and exciting opportunity for the position of Account Manager within the BD Life Sciences Division has arisen. Focusing on our Preanalytical specimen management solutions, including the BD Vacutainer® range, you will be responsible for selling a range of solutions and products across the NHS and Pathology Networks.
Reporting to the South UKI Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the London Territory and have the following key accountabilities:

• To achieve the annually agreed sales objectives and growth within the region

• To drive growth through the use of the BD Way of Selling by incorporating Customer Centricity and Salesforce.com into daily activities. All opportunities are to be monitored and maintained on a regular basis.

• To develop, monitor and drive account plans and sales strategy across the region

• Prospecting for strategic partnerships as NHSI Pathology networks develop

• To provide pre and post-conversion support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Work closely with clinical, marketing and other central colleagues

• To perform a continual review of metrics, sales data and build in insights in order to recommend and make appropriate market changes to drive product growth

• To successfully plan and execute demonstrations to convert specimen management solution opportunities.

Coming from a life sciences background (ideally pathology) with previous healthcare sales experience you will demonstrate the following key competencies:

The successful candidate must live on territory and be comfortable with travel across the region.
