Engineering Account Manager - £65,000
Our client is an expert in facilities management, who creates an environment which enables people to deliver exceptional experiences to help organisations to be more efficient, effective and sustainable.

They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join the team on a brand new contract that goes live on 1st September.

The contract covers 5 Static sites between London and Manchester.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
  • Professionally monitor all engineers / operatives and subcontractors under their area of responsibility ensuring Health & Safety, compliance, quality of works and attention to detail is a main focus resulting in best value for money and Engineers efficiency when undertaking this work
  • Project yourself, your team and the company in a courteous and professional manner at all times
  • Work closely and in conjunction with FM administration and helpdesk functions and follow FM processes at all times
  • At all times, work to ensure contractual, financial, compliance and Health and Safety Risk is minimised
  • Work closely with engineering supervisor, to assist with development and improve technical knowledge and impart personal site / engineering knowledge of the Clients property portfolio
  • Develop and maintain professional policies and practices to ensure effective operations within the overall delivery team
  • Manage all Maintenance PPM schedules, SLA's of accounts within your control
  • Provide an effective and responsive service to all help-desk calls & administration queries in relation to your accounts
  • Manage and develop effective relationships with external service providers
  • Maintain procedures for monitoring the effectiveness and performance of external consultants, contractors and suppliers
  • Carry out reviews of service contracts and undertake bench-marking and re-tendering as required
  • Liaise with external consultants, suppliers, contractors, statutory bodies and internal clients as required
  • Develop a planned regime for the pro-active maintenance of all assets through-out your allocated portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, including regular testing of plant and equipment
  • Produce monthly update reports to the client for monthly / quarterly / annual review meetings
  • Monitor and control all financial aspects of client accounts. Produce and show understanding of P&L reports for internal purposes
  • Develop client relationships to secure extra works

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
  • Candidates will ideally be either academically or professionally qualified within an Engineering discipline
  • A sound background in the management of engineering services operation and maintenance
  • Demonstrable a minimum of 5 years' experience of managing medium/large size client accounts
  • A good understanding of service contracts and contract management
  • A good understanding of profit & loss, WIP management & reporting
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The post will for 40 hours per week, based out of our client premises in London, however, the candidate will be required to travel between London and Manchester as and when required. Working hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however additional overtime may also be required to meet the needs of the business.
