I am currently recruiting a Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This is working for an EMEA Mediacompany based in East London close to Liverpool Street Station.

Client Details

My client is an EMEA Media company based in East London. They were established couple of years ago and since have grown consistently year on year. They provide timely, quality management information to the EMEA, North America and APAC regions.

They are now looking to hire a Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This will be an initial temporary assignment for 6 months. The role will be based in their offices in London.

Management Accountant, East London

Roles and Duties
  • Take ownership of the production of a number of the companies P&Ls within the Group's consolidated management accounts and ensure these are delivered accurately and to deadline.
  • Reconcile all Balance Sheet Accounts monthly
  • Produce monthly commentary & meet with MDs to discuss territory performance
  • Reconcile intercompany balances on a monthly basis
  • Liaise and co-operate with both internal audit and external audit bodies.
  • Assist in the preparation of Budgets & Forecasts
  • Review financial operational controls & processes
  • Producing high quality ad hoc financial information for MDs & CFO

The successful candidate MUST be immediately available and can interview / start at short notice.
  • Calm under pressure, organised with strong time management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well developed communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexible, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Able to work as part of a team and able to use your own initiative to solve problems
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Effective challenger, always looking for better ways of doing things
  • About You: Education & Qualifications
  • Honours-level degree
  • Working toward ACCA / CIMA (part qualified)
  • Have previously used SAP, Salesforce or TM1

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be paid between £17-21 per hour depending on experience.
