Working closely with the Management Accountant to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters you would be responsible for:

* Matching purchase orders to invoices.
* Inputting all invoices on to purchase/sales ledgers from source documents.
* Posting all bank receipts/payments onto Sage.
* Checking supplier statements to purchase ledger.
* Assisting Sales ledger with sending out monthly customer statements.
* Inputting accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy.
* Resolution of finance related queries.
* Assisting with end of year preparation and procedures.
* Providing support to team members.
* Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role.

You will need a good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook and computerised accounting software, good communication and listening skills, good organisational skills used in planning own work, good analytical ability.
