Our retail branches are at the very heart of our organisation and the services and support they offer customers enables us to provide an exceptional customer experience for all.
We are currently looking for a Branch Manager who will lead, develop and inspire the team in the delivery of an exceptional customer experience to enable us to be simply brilliant at mortgages and savings.
This role is 35 hours per week working Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays on a rota basis between 9am-12pm
What you'll be doing:
As Branch Manager, you will manage a team of customer facing colleagues, promoting high standards of customer service ensuring that they deliver an exceptional experience to all customers.
To the ideal candidate that means leading by example as much as you can - it also means thinking ahead through succession planning, analysing branch activity to spot business development opportunities and introducing productive initiatives.
Skills and knowledge you'll have:
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to combine a strong performance focus with evidence of high standards of customer service and achieving performance measures.
  • Broad knowledge of financial products, services, regulations and operations.
  • Ability to work with peer Branch Managers remotely as part of a wider area.
  • Effective in change management, to understand and embed change.
  • Strong communication and development skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and planning and organising skills.
  • Flexible, positive, hardworking and driven in nature.
  • Have a positive impact in the local community.
