We are looking for an Assistant Accountant with impeccable attention to detail, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a first-rate work ethic. The Assistant Accountant will work closely with the Management Accountant and Head of Finance and report directly to the Head of Finance.

About the role:
  • Raising monthly sales invoices
  • Credit control and liaising with residents, residents' next of kin, Local authority and NHS CCG
  • Cash posting and day to day banking
  • Financial Reports and analysis
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Other adhoc duties as required

Desired Skills and Experiences:
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in an accounting and/or finance environment
  • Strong academic background such as relevant degree and/or studying toward an accounting qualification
  • Credit control experience
  • Solid book-keeping experience
  • Commercial acumen and a good eye for detail
  • Demonstrable experience of team working
  • Very strong MS Excel skills
  • Flexibility, ability to multitask and work to achieve tight deadlines in a fast-paced business environment

  • Working hours: 9.00am till 5.00pm
  • Workplace Pension scheme
  • Salary: £28,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year
