My client, an established and growing manufacturing business based in Highbridge, is looking to add an Accounts Assistant to its accounts team on a temporary to permanent basis. This role offers a degree of flexibility in working hours, from circa 30 hours a week up to full-time. (full-time working hours are 8.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch)

Reporting into the Finance Manager you will primarily look after the Sales Ledger side alongside a variety of other tasks, to include:
  • Entering bank transactions on to Sage
  • Reconciling the bank accounts, petty cash, company credit cards
  • Reconciling other nominal ledger accounts as required
  • Principle credit controller
  • Provide receipts forecasting as required
  • Produce the weekly credit control report
  • Process expense claims
  • Raising of sales invoices
  • Processing of weekly wages
  • Purchase ledger invoicing (overflow)
  • Company credit card processing

You will be a proactive, multi tasker with have previous accounts experience, knowledge of accounting software and good understanding and use of excel spreadsheets.
