We are working closely with a highly reputable and well-established group who are currently in the process of restructuring and redeveloping their business, so have asked for assistance in identifying a suitably experienced Senior Accountant to join their team on a part time basis. This opportunity will be on a fixed term contract basis for 3 days per week.

As Group Restructuring Accountant, you will be responsible for the group corporate restructuring of the EMEA and European legal entities, and associated accounting deliverables. You will be providing high quality analysis, regular financial reporting and preparing statutory accounts to a high standard.

Your responsibilities in this role will include (but not be limited to):
  • Preparation of accounting entries and documentation for entity liquidation and projects
  • Annual statutory entity audits
  • Business Partnering with US reporting team and external advisors
  • Ad hoc analysis, reporting and accounting support when required by Financial Reporting Manager

You will need to be a confident communicator and ideally will have had experience in liquidation and restructuring companies. You will be a highly experienced Financial Accountant who has knowledge and an understanding of UK and US GAAP, with strong Excel skills and an ability to work to selected timeframes as set by the business. We are looking for a fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant, ideally with some knowledge of a multi-national/multi-currency business with operations overseas. This is a varied, part time opportunity, where you will be required to work 3 full days per week within a business which is going through a major internal transformation.
