OPR is delighted to be recruiting for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of an established, market leading, and family run business based on the outskirts of Witham/Maldon.

Reporting directly into the Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for the purchase ledger cycle for assigned key accounts in an efficient, accurate and effective manner. The successful candidate will be comfortable working within a fast paced and high-volume environment.

Ideally, my client is looking for someone to work a 25-hour week, 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday but can be flexible for the right candidate.

Duties will include:
  • Processing a high volume of invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Creating/maintaining supplier accounts
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques
  • Raising cheques
  • Dealing with queries
