We are pleased to working alongside on of the countries' most successful National provider of 1:1 Tutors for children and young adults who require additional support outside of a school environment. Working alongside young people between the ages of 4-24, you will be supporting children with a variety of requirements from SEMH, EBD, ASD and challenging behaviour, providing a safe and understanding learning environment to assist in their academic and personal development.

Your experience and skill set will be used to make matches as to which young people you will be working with, as some may require more focus on core subjects, where as some may require a particular level of experience with a form of SEN. Working on a referral basis with your young person, you will have weekly sessions scheduled for the duration of their requirements. This may be once per week, twice per week, up to every day. Depending on your availability, you will be able to take on multiple referrals.

Working from a central hub with access to sports facilities, kitchenettes, as well as a wealth of resources and activities, you will be able to plan for your referral sessions to make them as engaging and interactive to stimulate your young person. With a network of tutors within the hub itself, you will have support available at every opportunity, as well as working alongside Case Workers and Carers.

You will be:
  • Providing quality education and care for children.
  • Preparing and delivering lesson plans that meet the National Curriculum.
  • Working across the curriculum to educate in a wide variety of subjects.
  • Using a variety of learning techniques to support the learner utilising a cross curricular or topic based approach.
  • Planning and providing a caring and stimulating environment that is appropriate for individual children and enables them to reach their full potential.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Observing and assessing children's development and keeping accurate record of their achievement.
  • Ensuring that the service you provide to learners is thorough, inspiring and aids in their development.
