A friendly and supportive finance team in County Tyrone are looking to recruit for an additional team member to support their Payroll function on a full time, permanent basis.

This role is suitable for applicants with at least 1 years' experience within a Payroll position in any large organisation, SME, Private Sector Company, Accountancy Practice, Third Sector Employer, or any other closely-knit business.

There will be a quick turnaround between the submission of your CV, organising an interview and receiving an offer for this position.

The most important requirement for this role is strong communication skills.

The Finance Department are a friendly and enthusiastic team who Reed are proud to represent. The role offers plenty of scope for a career development to 'go beyond' the payroll duties in the accounting function.

Primary responsibilities will include:

- Managing the collection of employee information, e.g. hours worked, absence details, holidays etc. and verifying with relevant line manager;

- Processing a weekly payroll;

- Management of the timely administration of all aspects of the Payroll functions to ensure that all staff are paid correctly and on time;

- Maintenance of accurate records, e.g. sick pay, holidays, pension deductions etc.;

- Providing employees with information

- Dealing promptly with correspondence from Government departments, e.g. Social Security Agencies, CSA, Family Credit, Inland Revenue etc.; and

Register new clients as employers with HMRC;

- Processing new starts, leavers and employee payroll transfers; and

- Ad hoc administrative duties.


- Minimum of 1 years previous experience of weekly and monthly payroll processing;

- Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel at Moderate to Advanced skill level;

- Ideally experience using TMS, Sage and other similar payroll software; and

- Fundamental understanding of payroll theory and relevant legislation.
