Main Purpose of the Job:

To assist the Head of Client Banking and the wider Client Banking team with a variety of regular tasks and ad hoc projects, including the management of information and data within the team and of strategic improvement and research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To support the Head of Client Banking and the rest of the team in a variety of regular team tasks and ad hoc projects, with energy and high attention to detail
  • To own and constantly improve the production and analysis of data for the team, automating this where possible
  • To assist the Head of Client Banking with the development of the banking and lending proposition: researching, analysing issues and managing projects
  • To respond to Partner enquiries, covering St. James's Place's banking and lending services, including the resolution of unusual cases
  • To assist with the marketing and communication of the banking and lending proposition to SJP Partners and employees

Required Knowledge/Skills:
  • Numeracy and analytical skills and ability to manipulate data
  • Organised and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Proactive self-starter, with a keen desire to learn more about the industry and for example to improve knowledge through professional qualifications in financial products or accountancy.
  • The ability to build influencing relationships with other departments
  • Good oral and written communication skills (incl. MS Word and Powerpoint)
