nGeneration Limited is one of the UK's leading independent IT service, application development and software solution providers to the hospitality markets, our Customers establishments include pubs, clubs, restaurants and hotels.

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Administrator to join our team who will be responsible for supporting our Project teams alongside undertaking general receptionist duties.

Other key responsibilities will include:
  • To be responsible for transferring the Customer data (product and pricing information) received on to a standalone till system prior to the pre-arranged go live date for the relevant Customer site.
  • To undertake testing of all data/systems prior to a site go live to ensure that all the information is correct.
  • To complete data amendments and changes relevant to product and pricing additions and new menu rollouts.
  • To analyse project, roll out plans to ensure that all relevant data has been received and transferred prior to any sites going live and escalate any potential high impact issues to the relevant Manager.
  • Supporting Customer sites with any questions or queries that they may have.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within either a customer service or hospitality environment.

It is essential that applicants have the following skills:
  • Experience of working within a Hospitality environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

It would also be beneficial if applicants have an understanding of database structures, but this is not essential.

This role will be based at our Head Office in Dudley working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday; whilst not essential it would also be useful if applicants had a full manual driving license.
