The Management/Operations Accountant RoleThis is a superb opportunity for the right candidate to join our enthusiastic Finance team within a fast-paced, growing organisation. We are looking for someone who is tenacious, persistent, not afraid to roll up their sleeves and has a hands-on approach.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Effective communication of all aspects of operational performance (factory yields, waste, labour costs, segmental reporting, procurement, technical trials margins, etc)
  • Advise and influence employees to improve financial performance
  • Effective compliance of stock control and monthly stock valuation/reconciliation
  • Key stakeholder of Bill of Materials
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Ad hoc projects when required

Requirements of the Management/Operations Accountant:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing essential
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
  • Self-motivated, high energy, able to work independently
  • Exceptional analytical skills, advanced level Excel and MS Access
  • Attention to detail, but with ability to step back and see the bigger picture
  • Qualified CIMA or working towards
