A leading global organisation based in Southampton, due to growth is now looking for an Oracle Finance Analyst to join their existing business systems team on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Reporting into the Oracle Applications Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support of the Oracle e-Business Suite and specifically the GL, AR and AP modules to users across the business; work with end users to understand and review business needs and use knowledge to provide the best workable solutions to business needs; offer advice on best practice on the use of Oracle e-Business Suite R12 as well as act as an escalation point for the Helpdesk and assist with the implementation, upgrade and testing of new ERP modules.

Suitable individuals will be demonstrate at least 3 years commercial experience in of working within a Financial Systems / Accounting Analyst, Functional Support, Consultant or a related capacity, providing support, troubleshooting, training and best advice on the use of Oracle e-Business Suite 11i or R12.

Consideration will also be given to individuals who either hold an accountancy qualification or have experience of working within an accountancy / finance based role; have a solid understanding of and working with Oracle e-Business Suite 11i / 12 and now looking for an opportunity to move into IT.

Individuals must also be willing to travel from time to time throughout Europe to other business locations.

Our client is offering a salary in the region of £30,000 - £35,000, Contributory Pension Scheme, Private Medical, Life Assurance, Dental & Optical Care, Share Purchase Scheme, Child Care Vouchers, Educational Assistance, Corporate Gym Membership and 21 days holiday increasing to 25 days with service
