Join Seetec as Infrastructure Team Leader/Manager to lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers to ensure that our IT Infrastructure meets all existing and future business requirements.

We need your excellent organisational, problem solving and change management skills alongside your creative and critical thinking skills to help drive innovation!

Working in partnership with the Infrastructure Architect to define Infrastructure priorities and manage on going projects and workload for the Infrastructure Engineers, you will ensure projects are delivered on time and according to business need.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and monitor all network, security and computer systems to meet the organisation's current and future requirements

* Responsible for management, maintenance of cloud services, storage, virtualised environment, servers, network devices, and productivity tools

* Continuously develop Seetec's network in accordance with current and future IT strategy

* Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively

* Test all changes to networks, hardware, software, and hosted applications

* Provide technical input to assist with the development of Seetec's IT strategy

* Proactively train Infrastructure, Assets and Support staff on new technologies to ensure they can deliver consistent and efficient customer service

* Ensure all network Infrastructure is fully documented and up to date and comply with efficient version control

Skills and Experience

Essential

* Degree qualification in IT related discipline and/or demonstrable experience in a similar role or department

* Professionally recognised qualification such as MCSE - Microsoft Certified System Engineer or relevant hands on experience

* 10+ years' experience in a production IT environment managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.

* Professional infrastructure experience of developing solutions within service level agreements, with the ability to challenge existing processes to improve efficiencies and outcomes

* Demonstrable experience of managing complex IT and communication systems, services and infrastructure

* Ability to write design documents and review design documents provided by others.

* Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to infrastructure needs.

* Strong working knowledge of VMware or other virtualisation software.

* Managing virtualised server and cloud-hosted environments

* Ability to work flexibly and travel to locations across the UK and Ireland if required

Desirable

* Higher level Microsoft/networking/info security qualification/accreditation

* Cloud service provision experience

* Implementation of cloud environments with Azure, AWS or other major cloud service provider

Salary: £43,550 to £48,400 pa (dependent on experience)

Location: Hockley

Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday- Thursday 8.30 am - 4.30pm Friday (Full Time)
