Legal Administrator - Holiday Sickness

£20,000 - £25,000 plus bonus

Our client is a well-established and award winning organisation. They are based in modern, state of the art offices and actively encourage career progression and training. Now recruiting for a Legal Administrator.

Ideally you will have Legal experience within the Holiday Sickness sector but even if you just have some sort of Legal experience then you will be suitable for the role. The role has been created due to increased work levels. The role is complex and involves:

* Regular contact with Defendant representatives

* Progressing a Holiday Sickness claim from initial enquiry through to conclusion on Trial

* After training and hands on experience you will become proficient in contested civil litigation

* Taking new instructions on a daily basis

* Drafting letters of claim

* Preparing schedules of losses

* Drafting witness statements

* Instructing Counsel

* Issuing proceedings

* Disclosure of documents

* Conferences with counsel

* Preparation for Trial

* Attendance at Trial

The successful candidate will suit an individual who is serious about a career within the Legal world and after successful probationary period you will be offered a training contract. You will receive on-going training career development. We need a strong communicator - bot written and verbal and loads of initiative. This really is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded and proactive individual.
