Account Manager - Software for Education & Schools
£21,500 + Benefits + Flexible with working hours + Bonus Potential (Pro Rata for Term Time)
An excellent opportunity for a results-driven Account Manager ideally previous experience of the education sector
Flexible with working hours. Full Time or Term Time Plus 10 additional days
Designed in partnership with schools, we provide a smart assessment, tracking & communication web-based solution for schools, academies, MATs and local authorities. Its modular approach is designed to dramatically reduce the administration and data management burden. We also fully integrate with leading schools’ management ICT systems including SIMS, RM Integris, Facility CMIS, Scholar Pack and Wauton Samuel.
The Account Manager Role:
+ Keep in regular contact with customers to ensure they are happy and engaged with the system.
+ Sell additional modules to customers.
+ Create account review appointments for upcoming renewals and also include visits to schools which are not due for renewal but in the same geographical area.
+ Identify low usage customers early in the process to allow interventions to be provided.
+ Gain agreement for renewal contracts, create contracts through Echo sign system and see process through to signing including follow up emails to confirm contract is now in place and provide all information about contact details for all departments.
+ Keep a record of all renewals including an overview summary for each year.
Provide additional support to the Customer Services team by email, phone and live chat, helping to cover the following areas:
+ Answering telephone, taking messages and transferring calls
+ Provide customers with support / advice via telephone or email, remote accessing when required
+ Log and process calls using CRM
+ Customer installations/Connections
+ Work an additional 10 days per annum for holiday cover
Cold Calling – Cold calling depending on Campaign
+ No formal qualifications required.
+ Experience of the role from previous employment
+ Experience of the Education Sector
+ Excellent communication and people skills

+ Answering customers' questions by phone, email webchat or face to face
+ Handling complaints or passing them to a manager
+ Entering customer information onto a computer database
