We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Service Desk Engineer to join our client based in Bournemouth.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Desk team to resolve issues.Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment you will work across a variety of systems and applications, on-premise and in Cloud environments.

You should enjoy problem-solving and be able to think on your feet and find solutions.You should be resourceful and enjoy problem-solving with a desire take ownership and continually improve your technical knowledge.You should have a passion for technology and for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Working with other members of the team to resolve client issues and taking ownership of tickets that are escalated to you, resolving issues within SLA.

·Communicating with clients, end users and 3rd parties via telephone, e-mail and remote support tools to resolve Incidents, service requests and provide regular updates.

·Sharing your knowledge, experience and work ethic with other team members to aid their own development and deliver technical training in your areas of expertise.

·Recommending infrastructure improvements that you identify within client environments.

·Completing full documentation for client and internal systems to the required standard.

·Providing out of hours emergency support on a rota basis.

·Following policies and procedures to comply with ISO20000 and ISO27001 accreditation.

Skills and experience required:

·Experience in a 3rd line technical support role within an MSP environment.

·Microsoft MCSA or Cisco CCNA certification.

·Microsoft Windows Server operating systems support and maintenance of (Server 2008-2016).

·Microsoft Windows client operating systems support and maintenance (Windows 8.1-10).

·Virtualisation platforms support and administration (Hyper-V and VMWare).

·Microsoft Exchange support and administration (Exchange 2010-2016).

·Support of enterprise grade wireless solutions.

·Support and maintenance of Cisco networking solutions (WAN, LAN and WLAN).

·Support and administration of Office 365.

·IT degree or equivalent is desirable.
