Could you work with a team of friendly and experienced childcare practitioners to deliver exceptional care to infants from birth up to the age of 5?

Candidate Requirements:

A secure knowledge of safeguarding and children's early development
Keen observation skills and the ability to assess progress and identify children who may struggle to integrate
Experience of working in a childcare setting
The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and children's parents
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to undergo a new DBS check
An engaging and enthusiastic personality to get children excited about the day's activities
Candidate responsibilities:

Assisting with the maintenance of the nursery environment, tidying throughout the day
Working as part of a committed childcare team to provide a quality service, demonstrating team-working skills and a collaborative approach
Encouraging curiosity and developing children's thinking by asking questions, trying to understand their experience of nursery life
Making full use of the nursery's facilities and resources, planning activities in line with the nursery's suggestions and ensuring that children are effectively entertained and exercised
Teaching children about the responsibilities of animal care, encouraging them to engage with the nursery's two pigs, chicken and rabbit
Encouraging children to get involved with festival celebrations, developing an appreciation for different cultures and traditions
