Schoeller Allibert is looking to recruit an Engineering Manager, reporting to the Head of Technical Support. This is a unique opportunity to work with the UK market leader in the field of returnable transit packaging, being part of a dynamic Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

The Engineering Manager will take responsibility for the following:

* Delivery of KPI's related to all technical disciplines including engineering, tooling and process setting that contribute to the overall business targets

* Management of activities designed to achieve world class performance levels of availability of machines and tools whilst also optimising process capability

* Contribute to the definition of process and procedure developments that drive TPM, asset management and budget control

* Development of team and individual skills and competence to drive flexibility through multi-skilling

* Manage behaviours to support flexibility and team work that will deliver vertical and horizontal goal alignment

* Development of a continuous improvement culture that engages all disciplines

Behavioural skills:

* Communicates clearly to the level of the audience, checking to ensure that the messages have been received and understood.

* Must be self-motivated, with the ability to also boost the performance of others.

* Must have the ability to encourage others to buy into team objectives and take ownership for results.

* Able to train or transfer own knowledge to others.

* Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with individuals and teams.

* Demonstrates the ability to make decisions where necessary taking into consideration all relevant and available information.

* Task orientated individual, a completer finisher.
