WANTED! Project Management Skills Coach to join one of the UK's leading trainer providers.

Are you interested in motivating and inspiring learners in project management to realise their full potential?

GP Strategies, a market leading and award winning apprenticeship training provider, is looking for an experienced and qualified Skills Coach to nurture and support learners on our innovative project management apprenticeship programme.

As a Skills Coach, you will play an integral part in guiding individuals through their apprenticeship journey, helping them successfully reach their course requirements.

While apprenticeship industry experience in not required, previous experience in a coaching, training and project management role is essential.

  • Effectively manage the caseloads of project management learners; coaching, developing and supporting them throughout their apprenticeship programme.
  • Mentor and support learners with the development of their skills and technical competencies.
  • Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to meet set KPIs.
  • Work in partnership with employers to ensure both them and their learners have a smooth learning journey.
  • Monitor learners' progress throughout their apprenticeship, overcoming any challenges so they achieve their qualification in a timely manner.
  • Gather quality evidence towards learners' qualifications and ensure the quality is at the benchmark standard.
  • Manage your diary efficiently, to include regular contact and on-site visits with learners.

Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrate a solid technical background in project management.
  • A degree, higher education or recognised qualification in project management or significant industry experience as a Project Manager
  • Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in dealing with people at all levels of seniority.
  • This is a client facing role and will require travel so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Desirable (non-essential)
  • Proven work experience as a fully qualified assessor, skills coach, tutor or trainer.
  • Assessor Award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent
