Kind Consultancy is working with a leading multidisciplinary bank which is now seeking an Interim Capital Planning Senior Manager to join their Finance team in Birmingham on a six-month contract basis.

The Capital Planning Senior Manager will focus on ensuring that Capital Adequacy Reporting to the PRA is prepared accurately to the required timelines, with key responsibilities including:

* Accurate and timely Capital Management analysis and reporting

* Aiding in the review of related Capital external disclosures included with the interim and annual accounts and Pillar 3

* Delivering analysis and reporting to the PRa101 and internal management in an accurate and timely manner, including any ad hoc requests from regulators or management

* Analysing projections for business growth and risk weighted asset (RWA) growth to ensure the business is well placed to support future needs and to comply with internal capital ratio directives while meeting Group capital flow commitments

* Producing monthly, quarterly and annual capital plans and assisting in the execution of capital including MREL insurance included in the capital plan

* Aiding in the production of detailed capital plans under Stress Testing in line with standards set by regulators and clearly articulating the results for the business including an assessment of Internal Capital Planning Buffer (ICPB)

* Taking a leading role in improving the visibility and understanding of current capital usage, enhancing local Return on Tangible Equity (RoTE) framework, a qualitative understanding of future trends and quantitative forecasting of the impact of those trends on the organisation

* Playing a key role in the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process

Our ideal candidate for the Capital Planning Senior Manager contract:

* Has experience of working in a Capital Management or Capital Reporting capacity within a banking environment

* Has experience of working with regulatory bodies, especially the PRA

* Holds one or more relevant professional qualifications - PQE, CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc.

* Is an excellent communicator in both writing and speech, with experience of adapting style and approach for a variety of audiences and to suit the content

* Has experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business and operating plans which consistently delivered desired results

* Has a good understanding of financial budgets, statements and models with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting
