Exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join this well know organisation. We are looking for a chartered accountant with excellent technical knowledge. Competitive salary with excellent pension and generous annual leave.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1.To prepare group monthly management and financial statutory accounts within a multi-entity environment;

2.To undertake the Group consolidations and balance sheet work;

3.To ensure compliance of Group and subsidiary accounts with relevant accounting standards (e.g. UK GAAP);

4.To enhance and improve reporting across all entities;

5.To line manage the Subsidiaries' Accountant and support them in their role in producing the subsidiary monthly management and financial statutory accounts;

6.To assist with the internal and external audits and with the annual budgeting cycle;

7.To undertake ad hoc finance tasks, such as operational analysis, as required;

8.To cross train with other senior finance department staff to increase the resilience of the department;

9.To support other key finance department staff with projects, such as system implementations;

10.To deputise when required;
