Multi Channel Customer Insight Manager

As Multichannel Manager, you will play a key role in the Multichannel team with a focus on Analytics and Optimisation.

Responsible for leading customer insight for the multichannel business, with the aim of providing the team with market-leading actionable insight on customer behaviours with which informed decisions can be made to direct the product development roadmap for Trading, Digital Marketing and UX.

This new role will see you responsible for driving forward the Wickes Conversion Rate Optimisation programme and delivering changes to the site which drives acquisition, revenue and conversion.

All your actions will be based on data, which you will gather from various platforms. With tracking and testing in place, you`ll be at home reporting to management with the ability to turn the pages of numerical data into key facts, insights and actions.

Skills & Expertise
  • Extensive knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience of using tag management solutions such as Google Tag Manager. The ability to set up onsite tags and also third party tags, utilising custom javascript and regex when required. Understanding of a DataLayer.
  • Experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Data Studio etc.
  • Strong SQL, with experience using SAS, BigQuery or other tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management - liaising with the business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues/risks.
  • Experience of working with development teams, utilising project management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using VBA to automate processes.
  • Experience in Conversion Rate Optimisation, with proven results on past projects
  • A passion for testing, data and UX that can inspire colleagues, wider teams and the business as a whole as to the capabilities of testing and the decisions it can support.
  • Creative, innovative and willing to turn ideas into reality.
  • Highly organised by nature and proficient in multitasking; you see pressure as a challenge and work through problems in a logical manner, breaking down the complex into the achievable
