Take ownership of the preparation, development and review of courses of study, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching, methods of assessment and pastoral arrangements all of which complement the school's strategic aims
Plan the review, development and management of activities relating to the curriculum, organisation and pastoral functions of the school

Support individual or groups of children within a class.

Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes for individual or groups of pupils, as directed by the class teacher, and to help monitor their progress
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the Head teacher, Deputy Head teacher, SENCO and class teachers
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
Provide oral and written assessment, reports and references relating to individual students and groups of students.
Maintain accurate and up to date student records.
Track student progress and use the data to improve teaching.
Alert relevant staff to problems identified in a student and recommend solutions

We are currently looking for candidates who are happy to contribute, wherever appropriate, to the wider life of the school. Who are not afraid of a challenge and are enthusiastic about working under the guidance of the senior leadership team. If you have:

PGCE, QTS or equivalent
Experience teaching KS1 and KS2
On DBS update Service
With a good track of raising attainment
Looking for a new challenge
Enthusiastic and creative in planning lessons
