Once Britain's Best-Kept Secret, Bletchley Park, is a unique heritage site and vibrant tourist attraction and is now seeking a Social Media and Content Officer based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes to join its expanding team. You will receive a company pension scheme, BUPA healthcare scheme and holiday pro rata 33 days pa including statutory holidays.

You will be producing digital material, significantly growing our following, developing dialogue and meaningful engagement with our audiences and boosting sales across our online channels.

As a Social Media and Content Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and implementing
• Strategies and editorial schedules, using meaningful conversations to drive growth and engagement.
• Developing and executing per-exhibition and per-project plans, ensuring messaging is in line with wider communications strategy.
• Commissioning or creating a dynamic and representative offer in a range of videos, audio, written, images, etc.
• Working closely with the Design Manager to develop and commission data for our online channels in line with our corporate messaging and brand.
• Developing how we track and report progress against our commercial and brand objectives.
• Providing basic photography/training to relevant departments to encourage ideation and creation, as well as embedding good digital practice across the organisation.

To be a successful Social Media and Content Officer, you will have the following skills and experiences:

• Demonstrable experience managing social media and/or digital content, agency-side or in-house.
• Good knowledge of tools, trends and technologies.
• Excellent editorial/writing skills with the ability to create engaging data for our brand and audiences.
• Photo-editing and multimedia experience skilled in editing images in Photoshop, making gifs and ideally carrying out basic video edits.
• Some experience leading and commissioning others in data creation (this role does not involve line management but would require you to manage and coordinate data produced across the organisation).
• The ability to use social reporting and Google Analytics quickly to show the impact of different content and activity.
• Strong project management skills, managing internal and external team members and stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects to deliver on objectives within the timeline and process.
• Some crisis and issues management experience.
• The ability to independently manage and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines.

Your working hours will be Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. You will also be required to occasionally work out of hours and weekends.

In return, the Officer will receive a salary of £23,000 per annum.
