The Role
Reporting directly to the company's CEO, the role will involve the following responsibilities:
* Playing a key part in the redevelopment of the company's website and smartphone app, as well as the creation of a new online 'Careers Area'.
* Progressing the company's presence on social media.
* Producing / updating marketing literature and presentations.
* Developing promotional campaigns and new channels of communication.
* Recommending / arranging advertising across all forms of media.
* Working with the company's designer to produce advertising (and other) graphics.
* Utilising email marketing platforms to deliver digital communications.
* Producing editorial for trade press, newsletters, etc.
* Proof-reading both print and digital text / data to ensure total accuracy, and investigating / following up anomalies through to resolution.
* Measuring marketing activity and analysing data, as well as interpreting results and formulating related action plans.
* Sourcing branded 'giveaways' and clothing.
* Assisting with the organisation of various events.
* Liaising with the company's members, training providers, suppliers and other stakeholders, as required.
* Providing all other required marketing support to the company's CEO and Business Manager.
The Candidate
The candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
* Hard-working, organised and efficient, as well as being intuitive and creative.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* High standard of oral and written English, as well as a keen eye for detail.
* Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge / experience of Joomla CMS would be advantageous.
* Commercially aware and customer focused.
* Traditional marketing knowledge, alongside digital and social media experience.
* A Degree in Marketing (or a related discipline).
