Our prestigious engineering client is now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual into their Key Accounts Sales Team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will work as part of a fast paced team in managing several key accounts for the business.
Daily responsibilities will include:
* Manage several key accounts and be the face of the company to your customer portfolio
* Increase profitability and turnover of customer portfolio
* Work to achieve set KPI's
* Follow up on sales enquiries from allocated customer portfolio and prepare sales quotes/proposals
* Liaise with external sales & technical team to arrange customer visits
* Cross-sell additional products within your customer portfolio
* Ensure on time delivery targets are met for your customers
* Manage all customer queries/complaints from your customer portfolio
* Update the CRM system and input relevant information
* Identify and act upon sales trends within accounts
* Continuously review customer needs to add value and enhance customer experience
* Build rapport with clients efficiently and professionally to obtain relevant market information
* Champion the customer at all levels and represent them effectively internally
* Demonstrate a full customer understanding and be able to present to relevant info Management
* Give sales presentations / monthly reports to Sales Office Manager and Sales Director
* Provide customers with excellent service and support
* Be aware of all competitor activities within your accounts and prevent attrition
Essential Requirements:
* Proven key account sales background
* Commercially aware with a tenacious, winning mentality
* Outgoing personality and good at building relationships
* Excellent communicator (written, verbal and listening)
* Effective time management/organisational skills
* Strong work ethic, commercial judgment and reliability
* Ability to use own initiative
* Team player
* Self-motivated
* Proficient in Microsoft office packages
* Ability to build and maintain trusted and effective client relationships
* Flexibility for travel to visit all clients
