We have an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our client based in St. Albans. They are looking for someone with drive and a passion for marketing who can come up with innovative marketing strategies to help the business expand their market share. Their marketplace is Business Language Translation Services.
You should have experience of creating Marketing and PR strategies and taking these through to completion, including social media marketing. Market analysis and reporting is also a requirement for this position.
JOB SUMMARY
* To take responsibility for a range of marketing activities aligned to their business strategy
* To manage relationships with their external suppliers of marketing and website-related services
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Effective management and development of the business brand
* Manage and develop the company website and associated tools and links
* Source and manage vendors for various campaigns including managing current SEO agency, web developers, coders and designer
* Manage social media channels as part of the overall brand development strategy
* Represent the business at trade shows, events, conferences and networking events and optimise any PR and marketing opportunities which arise
* Increase new web-based enquiries and leads for business development to follow up and nurture relationship with existing clients
* Manage our online content strategy with the aim of engaging with prospects and clients and raising brand awareness. This includes content creation, regular e-campaigns and monthly newsletters
* Maintain and develop the CRM system for use in marketing and business development activities
* Conduct market research to identify appropriate target industries and develop opportunities in conjunction with the business development team
* Carry out regular competitor analysis to identify areas for growth and monitor the company position in the market place
* Manage and maintain the marketing budget in agreement with the General Manager
* Deliver agreed revenues through marketing activities
Experience required:
* Previous experience of marketing a similar professional business service
* Employing digital marketing to deliver greater presence and customer revenues
* Utilising marketing concepts, tools and techniques
* Planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Developing proposals and presentations
* CRM systems
* Microsoft Office applications and relevant marketing tools and systems
Skills and Attributes:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Able to communicate at all levels with customers and commercial partners
* Good understanding of digital marketing strategies
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Flexible and open to change
* Relevant and current marketing qualifications
* Good eye for detail
* Knowledge of other languages beneficial
