We have a great opportunity for a Finance Administrator to Join a professional and growing firm based in the Runcorn location, supporting a busy Finance team with a wide range of tasks. Our client is a fast growing, dynamic and ambitious company.

The Finance administrator will be an integral part of the Accounts team and liaise with all personnel across the business. Due to expansion and growth of the team, our client is looking for an individual who has a desire to kick start a career within this sector. You must have some experience and a good knowledge using the following applications Microsoft Excel, Word and Sage (not essential)

  • Daily follow up with customers to ensure prompt settlement of invoices in accordance with set terms. Processing of invoice/account queries to facilitate above.
  • Daily receiving of payments, allocating necessary information, which facilitates prompt allocation of cash.
  • Check, verify and process purchase invoices
  • Dealing with queries on postings from customers and suppliers
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures
  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries
  • Assist raising sales invoices through Sage 50
  • Sending remittances and customer statements
  • Allocating payments and receipts
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Checking / reconciling supplier statements
  • Expenses processing (to include coding & tax analysis
  • Credit control
  • Support in Other areas, as & when required with general administration tasks
  • Ensure the business maintains robust internal controls which will ensure compliance with financial regulations and company group policies.
