In this role you will lead our sales team in delivering a premium level of service to all customers through knowledge, skills and your experience. The Job:
*You will be a role model for the team
*Support a seamless end to end customer journey
*Increase sales and service, performance within the team across key KPI's
*Encourage a high performing, fun environment to ensure the team is motivated
*Monitor call volumes and match resource within the team ensuring that targets & service levels are achieved
*Coaching, training and developing the team through all customer interactions
*Identify training requirements (product, process & soft skills) and developing appropriate training based on the teams needs
*Conduct weekly training sessions to ensure the teams constant improvement
*Ensure smooth integration of new members in the team, ensuring they receive the relevant induction training.
*Conduct regular 121s, SMART reviews and daily team talks with their team including team huddles on the sales floor
*Monitor and manage poor performance within the team through the relevant performance management programmes
*Monitor attendance/timekeeping, shift adherence and manage any absence, return to work interviews, investigations and disciplinary issues with the assistance of the Sales & service manager
*Log and monitor the levels of errors and take preventative action to avoid a repeat
*Ensure team are up to date with latest offers, changes in product or processes through effective communication
*Provide the team with regular updates from the rest of the business i.e. latest marketing/social media projects
*Building monthly incentives
*Provide feedback to business on sales and service performance, highlighting risk & opportunity
*Producing a weekly sales report and attending weekly trading meetings
*Take responsibility for escalation of calls, concerns or feedback received by team members and take appropriate action
*Managing the sales roster with the assistance of the sales and service manager
*Attend and/or lead educational trips when required
*Develop strong working relationships with brokers & group agents
*Manage our communication templates through our CRM system
*Manage the team's performance on live chat

Skills Required:

*Able to manage people and drive high performance in their teams
*Customer focus and the ability to deal with, take ownership and solve complex customer issues
*Displays a good commercial awareness and understanding of company business plans, objectives and strategy, including competitor awareness
*Excellent verbal and written communicator, with strong interpersonal skills

*Lead by example in all areas i.e. attendance, punctuality, sales ability, willingness to learn and exceed expectation

*Experience of working in a target driven sales environment
*Passport and the ability to travel abroad when the business requires it of you
*Flexibility to lead, support and attend working event

The Package:

*Starting salary of £24,000 - £30,000
