Location: Rugby, CV23

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus benefits

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week - 1-hour lunch/flexible work hours available

About the Company:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join an expanding, family run IFA business in Rugby. The financial planning firm specialises in providing the best possible financial advice to its clients.

This client-focused and growing firm are looking for a technically competent Paraplanner, with expertise in pensions, to join their close-knit team.

Paraplanner Responsibilities:
  • Establishing client's needs, researching and presenting solutions to meet client's needs.
  • Prepare information, draft recommendation reports and suitability reports.
  • Work on cashflow models and financial plans
  • Keep up-to-date with new product, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
  • Work within the Firm's compliance, training & competence, complaints and policies / procedures.
  • Ensure that the client file meets the FCA's rules and requirements.
  • Complete application / proposal forms and ensure all compliance paperwork is in order.
  • Implement the chosen investment strategies.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders effectively in relation to cases and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties.
  • Establish and build strong relationships with clients.

Paraplanner Requirements:
  • You will ideally possess QCF Level 4
  • Technical knowledge and expertise of Financial Services Products
  • Technical expertise in Pensions
  • Experienced in using back office systems (Intelligent Office preferable)
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and able to build relationships with ease
  • Excellent report writing skills, with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Time management and ability to prioritise own work load
  • Good team working and liaison skills
  • Solid industry experience
  • Cashflow Modelling experience (Preferable)
