Main Purpose of the Role:

The main purpose of the Logistics and Customer Service role is to:
  • Supply Chain Support for UK, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, France and Netherlands markets
  • Office administration duties

Key Responsibilities of the Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator:
  • Manage the UK,Spain, Germany, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, France and Netherlands markets
  • Sales Orders
  • Processing sales orders - (received via fax, email, EDI)
  • Checking pricing, allocating stock
  • Liaising with Warehouse, Customer and Sales Rep on deliveries, pricing and queries
  • Preparing invoices once delivery confirmed by warehouse
  • Arranging product returns and credit notes
  • Maintaining shipping log in excel
  • Maintaining Customer Database with all contact & product information
  • Coordinate weekly/monthly trade bulletin (what's new / out-of-stock etc)
  • Liaise with UK warehouse on the cycle count (Weekly) and KPI (Monthly)
  • Review Monthly with Head of Supply Chain on the Cycle Count, KPI and UK Orders report
  • Ensure accuracy of UK warehouse inventory (i.e negative inventory, incorrect entry)
  • Monitor slow moving, discontinued and obsolete products for UK
  • Cover for Import/Export Manager and Supply Chain Assistant when on holiday
  • Shipping Monthly report follow-up

Office administration duties
  • Mail & Couriers - distribute incoming mail; frank outgoing mail; book courier services online
  • Arrange sample requests for Sales team, Marketing and customers
  • Incoming phone calls
  • General Housekeeping

Skills/Experience required for the position of Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator:
  • Minimum three years' experience in Logistics and Sales Service role in an FMCG environment.
  • Sound working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Customer service background or experience dealing with customers globally
  • Experience of order processing
