Location: West Midlands (Birmingham base)

Salary: £27,500 per annum

Full time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

We have a fantastic opportunity for an engaging and dedicated individual to join our Business Support team providing Curriculum Support.

The role involves:
  • Observing and assessing the quality of learning delivered in Go Train's Centres throughout the West Midlands, identifying any training and development needs of the delivery staff
  • Working closely with the Curriculum Manager to understand and contribute to the improvement of teaching and assessment practice
  • Designing and implementing personal development and mentoring plans for delivery staff, including the attainment of Level 3 qualifications.
  • Delivering comprehensive training to support new and existing staff members, including planning sessions, course materials, activities and resources.

You will hold a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. DET, DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) with recent experience of working at this level, plus a Level 3 in either English or Mathematics. You will have a thorough understanding of teaching and assessment practice, with an aptitude for problem solving and adapting to individual needs with a motivational approach. You must hold a driving licence with access to your own vehicle, in order to access multiple sites across the West Midlands.
