About the role

The role of Digital Marketing Assistant offers the chosen candidate a chance to play a key role in delivering the RNN Group digital plans and activities while supporting the delivery of the RNN Group marketing strategy by ensuring the Group successfully and creatively promotes the opportunities it offers to potential students, employers and the wider community.

As Digital Marketing Assistant you will develop engaging content and support online advertising campaigns and solutions to engage our customers and drive recruitment.

Your role will include maintaining the Group and colleges websites (including Rotherham College, North Notts College and Dearne Valley College websites) and social media channels, to shape and implement all digital elements of integrated marketing campaigns, including various online advertising, PPC, and email marketing using best practice.

You will work in partnership with colleagues within the digital marketing team as well as the wider marketing team, such as marketing officers and designers, to produce a range of digital solutions to promote the opportunities the Group offers.

The postholder will be able to develop their marketing and digital communications knowledge and build their skills on digital platforms including websites, social media sites and Google advertising and reporting tools.

Have you got what it takes?

The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player, have well-developed communication and writing skills and experience in digital marketing within the education sector, applications from other sectors will be considered. You should hold your maths and English qualification to a Level 2 or C grade and have a Level 3 qualification in a subject relevant to marketing or business.
