An expanding business in Warrington has a new vacancy within its growing finance team for an FP&A / Finance Analyst.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for the production of accurate and meaningful analysis, to aid productivity and effective decision making.

This business is looking to recruit an ambitious, driven and procactice person who is actively seeking a busy, varied role that offers the ability to learn and progress.

As FP&A / Finance Analyst your main responsibilities will be:
  • Producing & developing daily, weekly & monthly MI reports
  • Customer & Hub analysis (product usage, machine availability, footfall etc.)
  • Monitor performance of the business by adding and tracking KPIs
  • Generating & issuing daily transactional & discrepancy reports
  • Support the Commercial Finance Manager in providing the appropriate reporting, analysis and commentary where required
  • Support the Commercial Finance Manager with month end cost analysis and rolling forecast updates
  • Monthly management accounts; accruals, prepayments, journals

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed for the Job
  • Advanced Excel skills (Including macros), VBA & Power BI
  • Previous experience in an analytics role (planning, analysing, forecasting & reporting)
  • Currently studying towards a professional finance qualification i.e. ACA / ACCA / CIMA or hold a relevant degree (e.g. Economics, Finance & Accountancy or Mathematics)
  • Strong accounting skills with previous experience interrogating and presenting management information reports
  • Experience of dealing with high volumes of complex data & producing reports for multiple entities
  • Experience of dealing with high volumes of complex data & producing reports for multiple entities
  • Decisive with the ability to prioritise workload / time management
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact and work alongside key stakeholders
