Cambridge Regional College has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Mentor - Health & Personal Care to join our team at our campus in Cambridge. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (term time only) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £18,318 - £20,413 per annum plus benefits.

About the role:

Do you want to join a team who are focussed and driven to provide excellent learning support to students? Have you considered a career in learning support or are you already working to transform the lives of young people with special educational needs as they prepare for adulthood?

We are seeking confident and motivated Learning Support Mentor- Health & Personal Care staff to join our diverse and dynamic team. Duties will include supporting learners in class and assisting with their personal care needs.

You will work with teachers and other practitioners to raise the learning and attainment of young people whist promoting social inclusion, self-esteem and independence. You will get the opportunity to support students and assist them to participate in learning and fulfil their own individual potential.

What we're looking for in our Learning Support Mentor - Health & Personal Care:

The need to be flexible in your approach is imperative. You will need to be qualified to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and ideally have experience of working with people with a range of special educational needs. You will also need to be willing to support with personal care.
