London and Home Counties

My client, a leading veterinary pharmaceuticals company have an exciting opportunity for a full time, permanent Business Development Manager, covering London and the Home Counties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Developing profitable commercial plans to drive growth and increase market penetration and useage of products.
  • Achieving the turnover targets and profit margins set for the Companion Animal business.
  • Managing Independent Customers, Key Accounts, Major Accounts and On-Line retailers located within the territory as well as development new business.
  • Developing the turnover and profitability of the territory, contributing to the company's objectives by achieving sales targets, and ensuring that gross margins are in-line with budget.
  • Identifying and proactively developing new opportunities with Key Accounts and Major Accounts on the territory, whilst working cross-functionally to devise & implement a customised Key Account plan that creates sustainable opportunities for sales and services.
  • Proposing marketing, services and solutions requirements for the Companion Animal product portfolio.

The successful candidate will:
  • Be a strong Business Development Manager in either the Pharmaceutical, Animal Health or similar industries.
  • Have a strong track record of achieving sales targets and developing strong relationships with customers.
