SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a fantastic, rapidly growing business joining a friendly team on the outskirts Derby City Centre. This is a permanent position reporting directly into the Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining of the sales ledger, liaising with external and internal customers to ensure accurate data
- Ensuring all invoices are entered into the system in a timely manner
- Distribution of invoices into the customer authorisation process, ensuring they're returned in a timely manner
- Resolution of queries raised by customers in relation to invoices
- Production of management information as requested
- Updating sales spreadsheets with invoice information
- Reconciliation of accounts, resolving queries relating to sales ledger transactions
- Providing cover for the Purchase Ledger transactions as and when required
- Any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities

This role is perfectly suited to someone dedicated and motivated to join a growing company, focused on ensuring transactions are entered in an accurate and timely manner. Working within a small finance team you will also be expected to carry out any other duties as required. A confident individual with excellent verbal and communication skills is also imperative. You will have previous experience of maintaining a sales ledger, with previous Purchase Ledger experience and knowledge of Exchequer desirable, not essential. You will have excellent communication and time management skills, with a willingness to learn.
