I am excited to be representing a Middlesbrough based client on an exclusive basis who are looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join them on a Fixed Term Contract until 2021.

Company Benefits:

- Salary depending on experience £18,000 - £23,000

- 26 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday

Job Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong administration background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task and keep track of various activities. You will be customer-focused, possess a keen eye for detail as well as be confident and comfortable working with all levels across the organisation

  • To produce high quality communications material for the programme, including quarterly newsletters and e-bulletins, as part of the communications strategy
  • To develop the programme's online presence, ensuring appropriate content, tone and consistency
  • To use a variety of communication methods and tools to promote the programme to all stakeholders, including those in the private sector and the public
  • To promote the programme at external events and meetings, building new relationships and optimising opportunities to extend the reach of the programme.
  • To recruit new members
  • To develop the membership package so that it includes creative ways for members to come together to reduce isolation
  • To produce marketing and communications material that upholds the branding for the programme and the organisation
  • To research and feedback on marketing effectiveness, demonstrating return on investment for marketing spend
  • To Co-ordinate the website, including supporting the Programme Support Officer to keep website content up to date.
  • To co-ordinate all printed communications material for the programme including liaising with external companies, proof reading and quality assurance

The successful candidate:
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Good influencing skills with the ability to coordinate activity and encourage delivery and participation
  • To work within the values, beliefs and policies of the company.
  • To take part in line management supervision and appraisal as required
  • To attend training and events as required
  • General admin duties as required
  • To undertake other tasks commensurate with the position as required
