Blue Mount is a leading provider of bespoke visual merchandising and branding services to global corporate brands, predominately fashion retail. We provide all types of visual merchandising with a particular focus on windows and mall displays, as well as in-store displays, pop-up stores and special events. We collaborate with our clients on a budgetary basis to create bespoke retail solutions for affordable luxury and corporate fashion brands, as well as mall operators.

We have offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and London.

Blue Mount's London office is based in Old Street. We are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join our small, relaxed but hard-working team.

Responsibilities:

General
  • Able to prepare detailed and precise project scope on one's own
  • Independently managing project workflow, information and documentation for multiple complex projects concurrently
  • Schedule resource allocation and manage client's expectation with realistic timeline
  • Provide updates to related parties associated to the project status, changes or schedule changes
  • Work with internal departments / external suppliers to resolve issues and provide value-added services to clients; displaying a sense of urgency and professionalism
  • Proactively identify obstacles and seek resolution to ensure products/services delivered on time, within budget
  • Provide professional advice or counter-offer when dealing with difficult situations
  • Creating client mood boards where necessary
  • Reporting to the Head of Operations / Operations Manager in the London office

Production
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible for team financial performance and clients satisfaction
  • Act as project leader to manage and execute clients' projects and provide professional production advice to clients
  • Work effectively with Production Suppliers and Designers to deliver production results, as well as coordinating with other departments, overseas offices and external parties
  • Supervise 2 team members to work independently as a team. Grow their skills-set by providing daily coaching
  • Manage project schedule and budget

Business Development
  • Manage and maintain existing client-agency relationships and clients projects
  • Take the lead to develop and sell compelling service solutions to achieve client's business objectives
  • Generate new leads to expand existing business and acquire new clients
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and reports

Job Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree Holder with major in management / marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Marketing / Brand Management / Public Relations / Visual Merchandising or related disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external parties
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and develop collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability to lead projects and people across different teams
  • Strong time-management skills, with the sense for wise decision-making
  • Attention to details and organized
  • Multi-tasking, able to coordinate different projects at the same time
  • Effective and efficient, able to prioritize and allocate tasks to different parties
  • Positive, 'can-do' attitude and willingness to be involved with all nominated projects
  • Confident with budget management and daily financial tasks such as raising POs
  • Occasional travel within and outside UK as necessary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Competent in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred

Office hours are 8.30am until 5.30pm with one-hour lunch break (unpaid). There may be some flexible hours due to evening or weekend installations.
