Reed Accountancy are working alongside our esteemed client in the search for a Purchase Ledger individual to join their established team in Aberdeen. The role will be full time working Monday to Friday and will offer the right individual a secure and rewarding working life.

Duties
  • Scanning and coding invoices
  • Seeking authorisation for payments to be made by liaising with other departments
  • Processing all purchase invoices and credit notes, attaching to correct branch
  • Liaising with customers/suppliers on a daily basis to answer queries
  • Completing Weekly and Monthly payment runs
  • Bank runs on a weekly basis
  • Completing Bank reconciliations
  • Completing supplier reconciliations on a daily basis
  • Managing a portfolio of suppliers on a daily basis
  • Assisting with month end processes, such as preparing monthly reports etc.

Required:

Experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant position

Experienced with Microsoft Excel

Background in accounting essential

Desirable to hold a HND/Degree in Accounting and Finance or Professional Qualification
