Nigel Wright are delighted to be representing one of Teesside's largest businesses who are seeking a Integration Project Manager to work on a large Digital Transformation Project for an initial 3 month fixed term contract.

Responsible for working with colleagues to deliver the clients cross business integration projects, the post holder is responsible for ensuring the projects achieve the desired outcomes for stakeholders and the business within the required timescales and budget.

Reporting to the Strategic Programme Lead.
  • Work with the Strategic Programme Lead to plan, define and agree project briefs; benefits; roles and responsibilities; initiation documentation; stage and checkpoint reports and project plans.
  • Manage the achievement of the required benefits and outcomes of the project(s) taking responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and undertaking corrective action where necessary.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, agreeing and co-ordinating activities (via matrix management) and coaching colleagues and stakeholders to develop project plans, sequence events and identify and use resources (including budget, people and costs).
  • Analyse risks associated with projects and manage those risks and issues on a day to day basis.
  • Monitor and report progress with the projects to the Strategic Programme Lead, by maintaining records of issues, risks, lessons and co-ordinating and providing regular update reports to support reporting to Programme Steering Group.
  • Lead the close down of projects, recommending any follow up actions or projects to the Strategic Programme Lead and the Director of Strategy and Change.
  • Where appropriate ensure project outcomes, benefits and deliverables are integrated throughout the business by engaging business functions and ensuring effective hand over to service team.

Your skills:
  • Project Management certifications
  • 8+ years ICT project management experience (3+ within a large program and integration projects)
  • 2+ years business change project experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in parallel
  • Demonstrated experience on a range of infrastructure and application technologies
  • Experience delivering application migration & integration projects (using both Agile & Waterfall methodologies)
  • Experience working within an education or government sector organisation (desirable)
