The role requires a hands on manager with a strong understanding of Finance systems who is looking for a combination of operational and project based tasks. It will form an integral part of the Finance Systems team and will complement the existing team.Thomson Reuters' Elite Enterprise is the backbone of the finance systems, however, there are a number of other systems which are integral to the daily working of the firm: these include, Thomson Reuters Design Gallery, Electronic Billing Hub, xCelerate, Chrome River, Design Gallery, Minisoft's ARCS Collections 2G, Copitrak cost recording, and a number of in-house developed applications. In addition, there is a wide array of reporting tools user to deliver the firm's business data.Purpose of roleDentons is beginning its conversion programme to move from Thomson Reuters' Enterprise to their 3E application and in this role, the Finance Systems Manager will manage the ongoing support and development of the existing financial systems while having the opportunity to contribute in the programme.The financial systems team has the responsibility for all aspects of these systems: from ensuring day-to-day running and support to development of these finances systems and is critical to meeting the evolving needs of the business. The team is seated in both London and Dentons Business Service Centre in Warsaw.The successful candidate will be located within commuting distance to any of our United Kingdom offices. Working remotely with visits to any of our offices will be considered. ResponsibilitiesKey to successManaging the Finance Systems team based in London and WarsawDeveloping enhancements to the existing systemsLeading projects and working with stakeholders at all levels in Denton's Europe officesBeing a key stakeholder in the Finance Transformation process from Elite Enterprise to the replacement Global Practice Management systemWorking independently as well as collaboratively within the teamWorking closely with the Director of Financial Information on numerous projects that enhance the firm's efficacy and ability to meet its clients' needs.
