Role
  • Assistant to the General Counsel for EMEA and supporting the legal team in providing a full service in admin, archiving, arranging of meetings and agendas, minute taking and circulation, and organising and supporting on-line structures for filing and knowledge management.
  • Company secretarial support including: managing statutory records for the Group's entities in EMEA, maintenance of relevant databases and records, drafting statutory documents, preparation and filing of the company forms and documents with relevant regulators such as Companies House within required deadlines and drafting of minutes
  • Liaising with external lawyers and accountants in various jurisdictions in the EMEA region to arrange for AGMs to be held, statutory filings to be filed and corporate changes to be actioned
  • Coordinating and obtaining signatures for a variety of documents
  • Project managing the implementation of new systems for the legal department where required (such as Serengeti, document and contract management, knowledge management etc)
  • Liaising with the Finance and Tax teams to ensure timely filing of the statutory accounts and audit preparation
  • Tracking of internal and external legal costs and budgets (Serengeti system and manual invoices)
  • Working with the Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of Legal spend and budgeting of Legal spend
  • Liaising with a range of stakeholders across the Allegis Group in multiple countries to ensure and assist with global compliance

Profile
  • Previous experience in supporting a Legal Department
  • Experience in company secretarial matters required
  • Ability to focus on and quickly understand the desired outcome
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to respond quickly and manage expectations effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
