About the Role:

Ecorys UK has an exciting opportunity for a Framework Officer to join our reputable and established Policy and Research team delivering impactful research and evaluation.

Our work ranges from supporting local client needs, through to large-scale National, European and International research, monitoring and impact evaluation working for a variety of public sector and voluntary sector clients. We work across a range of policy areas including education, employment, children, young people and families, health and wellbeing.

As a Framework Officer you will support the smooth delivery of various European Framework Contracts with a range of clients. The role will predominately focus on frameworks that Ecorys has with the European Commission. The role will particularly support a set of large Frameworks linked to delivering Expertise, Evaluation and Studies in the fields of education, training, youth, sport, culture and innovation.

The Framework Officer role offers you the opportunity to lead on contractual arrangements and financial organisation, keeping on top of consortium agreements, contractual matters, invoicing and billing. There will be an opportunity to take responsibility for management and coordination of larger projects commissioned through the frameworks and to manage networks of high-level country experts across the EU.

This role can be based in either Lonon, Birmingham or Leeds.

Role Requirements:

You will need to be proactive working on your own initiative as well as supporting the wider team with support where appropriate, including the coordination of framework tenders and organising tender plans.

You must demonstrate experience of project and administrative coordination and management within a busy project, finance or business support team.

Experience of contract, financial management or administration would be beneficial for liaising with Ecorys' finance teams in UK and Brussels, requesting invoices, collecting supporting evidence for invoices and preparing activity reports, as necessary.

Attention to detail will be key to ensure you are able to manage and maintain any management information systems, trackers, pipeline information, CV/track record databases. In addition, you must be comfortable maintaining filing attached to the Frameworks and support systems linked to individual projects led by Ecorys where needed.

You must be able to demonstrate strong organisational and coordination skills as well as being able to multi-task, prioritise own workload and take initiative under pressure. The ability to work flexibly to deliver to tight deadlines is important.

There is also the prospect for some national and international travel.
