Our client are an International Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organisation managing its customers' indirect material spend via an integrated e-procurement platform. Their client list includes multinational organisations such including high end automotive manufacturers to global pharmaceutical manufacturers to leading food manufacturers.

Their offering in the market is unique - this is why they continue to grow at a phenomenal rate. They have more than doubled in size over the last six years, growing their turnover from £84m to £300m.

In 2017 they acquired another business and recently moved into new premises to accommodate the growth. Headquartered in Warrington (Birchwood) but with over 350 stores across the UK, Europe and Singapore and recently expanded into Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Slovakia.

As a result of the growth, we are now looking a strong Project Manager to join Implementation team, ideally with a background in Manufacturing or Procurement.

Role Definition

The responsibilities of the Junior Project Manager is to support the project team in delivering project plans, assessing and reporting risks and issues to the Project Manager.

Understanding critical timelines you will track and report weekly tasks, liaising with the Client Resources Manager, Implementation Team Leader and Project Manager with pre-emptive issues. Attending regular site visits, you will be expected to work in a "one team" culture assuring a quality service to the client in a professional manner. To continually champion improvement initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities

* Maintain project documentation
* Support implementation projects across multi sites
* Work towards implementation quality and success
* Continually work towards client journey, satisfaction and delivery of value
* Cresting best in class, right first time solutions, assuring lessons learnt are maximised
* Rapidly move client and Junior Project Management team through implementation cycles and manage all risks / issues.
* To take shared responsibility for your own personal development and performance in order to maximise your contribution to the business and your satisfaction in the role
* Manage risk and work to minimise this with good planning
* Work with the Client Relationship Team to understand commercial outcomes and client expectations

Skills Required

* Strong Listening Skills
* Technical and process knowledge
* Project knowledge experience, preferably in a client-service organization
* Experience of multiple full project lifecycles
* Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent interpersonal, oral & written communication skills
* A good understanding of Microsoft Project & Office at intermediate level.


Project certification desirable

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
