Our client, a highly regarded, award winning and well established Training Provider in the Yorkshire area have a rare opportunity for an entry level Learning Consultant / Assessor. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Childcare / Early Years Practitioner to make the move into the Training sector - on offer here will be the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications whilst taking a hands on role in assisting other Learning Consultants within the company. The role is to cover various childcare settings around Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham, you own transport is essential.

The role of a Learning Officer involves -

·Training and assessing learners in their work setting, delivering qualifications to a required standard within an agreed timescale

·Reviewing learners progress, supporting them, observing / reporting and ensuring learner retention is at an acceptable level

·Maintaining all paperwork and planning your own workload

·Promoting the company wherever possible, feeding back any business possibilities to your line manager

In order to succeed in the role, you will be guided by an experienced, approachable and friendly management team, who will help you develop into the role of a Learning consultant - you will receive continual support in order to acquire your awards and qualifications.

To be considered for the role, it is essential you have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Childcare setting (nursery / school) and be qualified up to Level 5 in childcare or have an early years / childhood studies based degree and have a passion for training and enabling others to succeed. A natural "people person", educated to a good standard with excellent IT skills, you will also need access to your own transport.

Aside from the basic salary (£18k - £20k) you will after a probationary period also be eligible for company bonus, as well as a generous holiday allowance and a Monday - Friday working week - above all this is an opportunity to enter the world of training with the full support of a hugely experienced management team in a company that is renowned for looking after their staff.
